Responsible for the Health and Safety of staff members on their line. Main Responsibilities The efficient running of the meal assembly production line Ensuring that all targets are met, and specifications and procedures are followed. Ensuring minimum line downtime is achieved through adopting a proactive approach. Key activities: Health and Safety procedures and checks are carried out to maintain a safe workplace for everyone. Ensure all product leaving the production lines meets the agreed customer specification (CCP) To control and organize labor on the line, ensuring all procedures are followed To manage the production lines at all times to achieve plan, in full and on time Ensure correct materials are brought to line at correct time and used in the correct quantity Assist with stock rotation and control and product labelling systems Keep lines clean and tidy to comply with best G.M.P. practice Key Result Areas: To monitor material usage ensuring no under or overweight finished product Ensure that the agreed labor and strike rate targets are being achieved Promote a working environment charged with enthusiasm Benefits of working with us as a Material Control Operative: 28 Holidays per year Weekly Pay Pension Scheme Mortgage references Location: Industrial Estate Ash Road LL13 9UG.
