About the Role:
Harris Academy Rainham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join our vibrant team. As a key member of the department, you will deliver high-quality RE lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. Your role will involve planning, teaching, and assessing RE across a range of year groups, fostering an environment that encourages critical thinking, respectful dialogue, and a deep understanding of diverse religious beliefs.
MPS/UPS (Outer London) + £1,500 Harris Allowance
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and dynamic RE lessons to students from Year 7 through to Year 13.

Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

Support students in developing their understanding of various world religions and philosophical perspectives.
*
Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
*
Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development.
*
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
