Heathrow Investigations Lead
Cooperate with Heathrow Safety and Security team as lead investigator. The role is not approved for an international assignment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct complex investigations into accidents and incidents related to assets, employees or third parties within Heathrow Operations, delivering coherent, accurate and consistent reports identifying root causes and implementing recommendations.
* Identify trends and drive the application and continuous development of BA safety behaviours by communicating with stakeholders to promote a Just Safety culture and effective Management System.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of safety, security and environmental requirements.
* Knowledge of health and safety, aviation security and environmental legislation.
* Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
* Influencing, networking and communication skills at all management levels.
* Presentation skills with data support.
* Identify underlying issues to business problems.
* Strong organization skills, ability to prioritise and plan.
* Understanding of operational data.
* Decisions made under pressure.
* Capable of leading a technical project to deliver a robust solution.
Experience
* Substantial operational experience within Heathrow Operations.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments within a change environment.
* Hold an airside pass and an airside driving permit.
