About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position supporting the firm's busy conveyancing team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing legal documents, managing client communication, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across cases. You'll be working alongside a professional, supportive team in a firm known for its staff retention and positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
5. Draft legal documents and correspondence with high attention to detail
6. Manage conveyancing files from instruction through to post-completion, including land registration
7. Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors, and third parties
8. Handle diary management and appointment scheduling
9. Maintain accurate, organised filing systems both digitally and in hard copy
10. Provide administrative assistance including call handling, email management, and other general duties
What We're Looking For
Essential:
11. Minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal secretary role
12. Strong organisational and time management skills
13. Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems
Desirable:
15. Previous experience in a conveyancing environment
16. Familiarity with land registration processes and post-completion procedures
