We have an exciting opportunity to join the Respiratory Team on 4 South at Royal Papworth Hospital.
Our team is a busy specialist ward looking after patients with various respiratory diseases.
Our wards focus and aim is always to provide care of the highest quality to our patients and as a patient environment assistant you'd be playing a key part in that.
We serve a diverse patient population and are dedicated to working together ensuring we're providing the best service possible and are at the forefront of clinical excellence.
On 4 South we support patients with many different respiratory illnesses and therefore a comfortable and clean patient environment is essential.
Your role will be varied and includes working directly with the nursing team, meeting patients day to day and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This includes cleaning and maintenance of essential equipment and clinical areas within the ward.
The skills we are looking for are attention to detail, tact, patience, accurate data entry, the ability to liaise with colleagues throughout the hospital and beyond, conscientious and excellent verbal communication skills.
You should be enthusiastic to work within an environmental maintenance role, have some customer care or office experience with an understanding of what this entails and be able to contribute positively to the patient pathway.
The shift times are 07:00am-15:00pm and 10:00am-18:00pm. Flexible working will be considered.
Applicants should refer to the Role Profile attached to advert for full information about the role
