This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to lead a successful retail sales department.
With a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets, and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle, consumer, and trade practice legislation, you will have experience in leading and motivating a sales team.
What does the Head of Sales role involve?
* Accountable for delivering financial results by providing a first-class customer experience
* Managing the departmental budget and controlling costs
* Leading the sales team daily and driving dealership volume and gross profit
* Enhancing enquiry conversion and F&I profitability
* Maintaining sales process standards and showroom standards according to manufacturer guidelines
* Ensuring customer expectations are met and their experience is seamless
What does the right candidate need to succeed?
* Proven experience in a motor industry sales department
* Ability to achieve and exceed targets
* Knowledge of vehicle, consumer credit, and trade legislation
* Valid driving license
* Willingness to work additional or unsocial hours
* Experience with the specific franchise
* Experience managing budgets and leading teams
* Excellent communication and motivational skills
* Compliance with GI standards and good financial standing
* Customer-focused attitude
* Professional appearance and enthusiasm
