22.5 Hour Dayshift Contract
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but you can guarantee you are supporting someone with varied needs.
Each person requires different support; your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding social networks.
About the Person
We support "J" at the Beacon House Project, a 24‑hour care home for eight adults with learning disabilities. J enjoys music, football, and other activities—your job will help them make the most of these interests.

We value commitment, dedication, and a passion to support individuals to achieve their goals. You do not need prior care experience; we recruit on values and transferable skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and assistance as needed.
* Support mobility and handling of residents.
* Deliver positive behavioural support.
* Promote independence and everyday choice.
* Assist with social and recreational activities.
Qualifications
* No prior experience required.
* Commitment to equal opportunities and values aligned with Enable.
* Will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start.
* Where required, Enable will fully fund SVQ Health and Social Care qualifications for SSSC registration.
