Executive Assistant – Birmingham (B2)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking business based in central Birmingham that is entering an exciting new phase of expansion. With a newly appointed CEO and ambitious plans for both organic and acquisition-led growth, this organisation is strengthening its leadership support structure—and is now looking for an Executive Assistant to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an EA who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to senior leaders. You will play a key role in supporting the Executive Team, coordinating events, handling confidential information, and ensuring seamless diary and meeting management.
You’ll also have the chance to get involved in recruitment activity—particularly around sales hiring—helping to maintain strong pipelines and ensuring a great candidate experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Executive Support
* Act as a natural extension of the CEO and Executive Team.
* Make informed decisions in the absence of senior leaders.
* Serve as a key liaison for Board-level communication.
* Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
* Provide flexible support outside of standard hours when required.
* Manage complex diaries and arrange travel.
* Attend key meetings to take notes and contribute where appropriate.
Event & Meeting Coordination
* Plan and deliver key internal events, including Board meetings, leadership sessions, company-wide events, and offsites.
* Manage full logistics: room bookings, supplier coordination, communication, and on-the-day support.
Recruitment Support
* Support the People & Talent Manager across the full recruitment process.
* Conduct initial screening calls and coordinate interviews.
* Maintain strong sales talent pipelines and candidate engagement.
* Assist with onboarding, admin, contracts, and system updates.
* Ensure accurate and compliant recruitment documentation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a high-level administrative role.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Confident diary and travel management experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking.
* Experience supporting recruitment processes (screening, scheduling, record-keeping) is advantageous.
* A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems is a bonus.
* The ability to work independently while managing changing demands and deadlines.
* A positive, “can-do” attitude—with willingness to support outside core hours when needed.
