Duties:
1. Business performance management

3. Co-ordinate forecast and budget cycles
4. Improve access to transparent financial and non-financial information
5. Meet external reporting requirements (incl. statutory reporting, VAT, national statistics etc)
6. Maintain a robust control environment
7. Improve financial processes, finding the right balance between efficiency and control
8. Monitor and support internal and external audits
9. Help the business execute good budgetary control
10. Treasury and Tax
11. Liaise with international tax teams so they can complete required returns
12. Manage indirect tax processes and submissions
13. Team management
14. Manage work planning across the team of 3
15. Ensure that all team members are developing in role and support their career ambitions

Skills:
26. A qualified accountant e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc
27. Knowledge of International money conversion (forex)
28. Previous experience in a Financial Controller / Manager position within the FMCG sector
29. Highly organised and able to keep the business on track with clear deadlines
30. Rigorous attention to detail
31. A clear communicator who can explain the relevance of technical issues
32. Proven track record of managing and developing a team
