Veritas Education are seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident General Cover Teachers to support a range of secondary schools in the Normanton area. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced cover supervisors looking to work flexibly while making a positive impact across local schools.
About the Role
As a General Cover Teacher, you will:
Deliver pre-prepared work across various subjects at KS3 and KS4
Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
Build rapport with students and staff, contributing to a productive learning environment
Manage classroom transitions and provide structure throughout the school day
Follow safeguarding expectations as set out by the DfE and Veritas Education
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold QTS/QTLS or have experience as a cover supervisor
Can demonstrate strong classroom presence and behaviour management
Are adaptable, professional, and committed to supporting young people
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
Have the right to work in the UK
