As a member of our team you will evaluate solutions, troubleshoot, and design circuits using simulation tools such as RF and Spice. You will create detailed schematics, collaborate closely with PCB layout engineers, design electronic hardware rigs, perform integration and qualification testing, and produce comprehensive design documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
* Lead the design and development of innovative, reliable solutions that push technology boundaries
* Conduct thorough testing, measurement, debugging, and verification to ensure top performance and quality
* Utilize advanced simulation and analysis tools to optimize designs and anticipate challenges
* Present complex technical issues clearly in design reviews, influencing decisions and driving success
* Prepare detailed, well‑structured design documents guiding teams through development stages
* Provide proactive technical support to production teams, ensuring smooth transitions and product excellence
About You
* BEng Hons in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of engineering processes and lifecycles, including DDQS and Lean Engineering
* Understanding of Design for Manufacture, Test, and Support
* Experience with HF system challenges such as cosite interference and transmitter/receiver co‑location
* Familiarity with HF communication standards, topside modelling, and link budget analysis
* Design knowledge of RF components: power amplifiers, filters, splitters, combiners, receivers, oscillators, synthesizers, RF cosite, and EMC
* Knowledge of V/UHF systems and techniques (advantageous)
* Awareness of digital control (microprocessors, DSP, FPGA) and DSP techniques (desirable)
* Proficient in CAD tools: Cadence DE HDL, Microwave Office, LTSpice
