About the Role
The Service Support Assistant role is part of the wider Business Support Service. Responsibilities include completing tasks on various information and finance management systems within specified timescales, improving data quality with attention to detail, and following procedures.
This role involves receiving visitors, responding to and screening calls, emails, and inquiries, providing high-level customer care, and producing correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using various software. It also includes managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing workload, using initiative to resolve non-complex issues. Providing backup to colleagues and handling urgent tasks is also expected.

About You
Applicants should provide examples demonstrating how they meet the following criteria:
* Recognized academic qualifications (e.g., GCSEs, A Levels, NVQ 2 in Business Administration, or equivalent) or relevant experience
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, with experience in data analysis and managing admin systems
* Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills and customer care experience
* Ability to produce accurate work to deadlines and work effectively in a team
* Understanding of confidentiality and experience working with sensitive information
* Numeracy and statistical skills, including financial data handling
