MCS Group is proud to partner with a rapidly growing company seeking to add an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to their team. You will be joining a busy but supportive environment, gaining exposure to a range of technologies deployed both here in Northern Ireland and across Great Britain. The Role:
* Provide 2nd line support by managing the help desk and addressing user issues.
* Occasionally travel to the UK mainland to provide on-site and hardware support (note: travel is infrequent).
* Demonstrate proficiency in technologies including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Office 365, Citrix, and networking principles.
* Work within a small, supportive team and gain exposure to 3rd-line escalations to build on your help desk skills.
About You:
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Line Support Engineer in a busy internal support environment or MSP background.
* Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in Active Directory, MS Exchange, Office 365, Citrix, and networking.
* Soft Skills: A friendly, professional, and approachable attitude with an appreciation for the service-oriented nature of IT support.
* Communication: Ability to interact with company owners, directors, and senior managers confidently.
* Motivation: Eager to apply your troubleshooting skills in a new and challenging environment while learning and growing professionally.
* Requirements: A valid driver's license due to the travel aspect of the role.
