Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Shunter and Forklift as required according to SOP’s, ensuring that all trailers
are moved to the correct area and working as per procedures
• Ensure factory perimeters and external areas are maintained in an orderly and tidy
manner at all times
• Ensure all non-food deliveries correspond with appropriate paperwork
• Carry out all vehicular activities in a manner which complies with site Health and
Safety requirements
• Ensure CAT 1 and CAT 3 materials are disposed of correctly and that appropriate
paperwork is correctly completed and retained
• Prepare trailers for production use in compliance with organisation operating
procedures
• Load and unload lorries, ensuring goods are checked in accordance with
organisational operating procedures
• Monitor bone-exit conveyor and ensure trailer is moved as required to prevent
disruption to production or spillage of waste material
• Responsible for ensuring all maturation trailers are cleaned and working correctly
Knowledge and Skills:
• The ideal candidate will hold the appropriate vehicle licences and take
responsibility for maintaining the licenses.
• The individual must have the ability to multitask and to communicate with all
levels of site staff

Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday
10am – 7pm
Temp to perm position.
After probation £14.50 per hour.
