About the Role
As one of the Model Bookers you will be at the forefront of the Model Team, working closely with the Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. With an ASOS casting eye you’ll be constantly searching for the next generation of ASOS faces, reacting to new briefs and both building and nurturing agency relationships. You will work with the team to supply a continuous stream of exciting talent to be one step ahead of the competition and deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20 something customer. The role requires an unflappable, driven and hardworking individual with a passion for the brand. You should have the ability to successfully be a part of and support a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset. It is vital that you are passionate about models and fashion; you should have an established knowledge of the industry and current social trends and how they relate to the ASOS customer.
What You’ll be Doing
* Reporting directly into the Senior Model Booker, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the Model team.
* Working alongside other bookers to source options and bookings for all talent bookings required for ASOS in-house shoots, approximately 30 models per day (including but not limited to rec & unrec ecomm, marketing location shoots, internal testing, social bookings and other creative projects) and problem solving when necessary to help all studios achieve shoot targets.
* Developing a creative ability to understand ASOS\'s model families and their aesthetic for guys and girls, using this to recognise appropriate model suggestions and ensuring all imagery used both internally and externally is in line with this expected standard.
* Contributing to the evolving ASOS talent brief, keeping up to date with the diverse ASOS customer and ensuring they always feel represented across all category pages.
* Taking ownership of models you have booked, working with the studio team to maximise each model\'s potential and ensure consistency over time.
* Handling model issues professionally and in line with ASOS behaviours policy.
* Nurturing existing relationships with international model agencies and establishing new ones when required, ensuring our first-class reputation is maintained and that all suppliers operate in line with our standards.
* Securing talent as “ASOS models,” working with agencies to ensure successful models are readily available across multiple platforms.
* Having an in-depth understanding of the model team budget and rate structure to facilitate confident negotiations with agencies.
* Working closely with Seniors, Leads and Management to deliver the department strategy and build strong, professional relationships with the wider studio team.
* Ensuring budget, cost per product, creative quality and volumetric KPIs are adhered to in collaboration with the model team and the wider department.
* Maintaining strong awareness of model analysis to inform casting decisions.
* Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas and assessing competition to ensure we are market leaders.
* Encouraging the team to be authentic, brave and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example.
* Delivering projects to support the department strategy and performing any other ad hoc tasks defined by the Model Team Lead and Manager.
* Contributing to departmental technology software and hardware launches when required.
* Participating in team and departmental meetings and being recognized as an aspirational figure within the team and wider department.

Qualifications
Who we’d like to meet
* Experience in the model booking industry
* Previous model booking experience with existing agency relationships
* A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment
* A passion for models and knowledge of models
* A methodical, accurate and extremely organised approach with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on their feet
* A can-do attitude and high level of efficiency
* An unflappable nature who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work confidently with contracts, usages and block bookings
* Lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a real team player
* Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InDesign and in the general day-to-day running of a PC and/or MAC
