Overview
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance, the post holder will provide key business and financial support to the Corporate Group. This role includes performance reporting and management, development of business proposals, service modernisation review and process change, budget setting and development. The post holder will also work closely with the Associate Head of Financial Management and the wider finance department.
The post holder will be based at the City Campus however may be expected to travel to other bases depending on service need.

Responsibilities
* Provide key business and financial support to the Corporate Group, including performance reporting and management, development of business proposals, service modernisation review and process change, budget setting and development.
* Work closely with the Associate Head of Financial Management and the wider finance department.
* Lead on the financial aspects of service delivery within the Corporate Group including CIP delivery; adopt a proactive and assertive approach when working with other customers and finance colleagues.
* Consolidate the Directorate financial position with a comprehensive understanding of the key drivers.
* Develop plans to mitigate adverse performance and capitalise on opportunities aligned with Deputy Head of Finance and Head of Finance strategic direction.
* Interact in a positive and supportive way with Directorate Leadership Teams, Specialty Leadership Teams, budget managers, customers and colleagues.
