3. Support students’ personal, social and emotional development, prioritising safeguarding and wellbeing.
4. Adapt teaching and curriculum content to meet a wide range of cognitive and SEN needs using a trauma‑informed, holistic approach.
5. Contribute to Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans, ensuring tailored support for each pupil.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other professionals, attending meetings and supporting consistent approaches across school and home.
7. Assist with school trips, enrichment activities and the development of PSHE and RSE resources.
8. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment through strong communication, effective behaviour management and empathy.

Requirements & Qualifications

9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A valid teaching qualification is essential.
10. Subject Knowledge: Strong expertise in PSHE.
11. Experience: Proven experience teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, with evidence of excellent student progress.
12. Skills: Effective classroom management, strong empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing, inclusive and safe learning environment.
