In this role as Assistant QA Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving a strong quality culture, ensuring our products, processes, and factory practices meet agreed standards. You’ll plan and coordinate QA activities, support product launches, manage non-conformances, and prepare the site for audits and customer visits.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the QA team, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System.
* Investigate and report on non-conformances, driving corrective and preventative actions.
* Support site readiness for audits and customer visits.
* Manage QA input for product trials and launches.
* Deliver and monitor Technical KPIs, including GMP, traceability, and internal audits.
The Ideal Candidate
* Level 4 Food Hygiene (or higher), HACCP Intermediate, and Auditing qualifications.
* Previous experience in a QA role within chilled food manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of short shelf-life food production and food safety requirements.
* Experience in managing and developing people.
* Basic IT skills (Word, Excel) and good literacy and numeracy.
* Flexibility to work other shifts or extra hours if required.
