Flexibility deserves recognition - and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you'll provide the adaptability our service relies on.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs on roadside scenarios, including risk assessment and problem-solving to keep members moving.
* Manage your own toolkit and van equipment, ensure your kit is stocked, and handle reports with precision.
* Read the situation on arrival and make the call on the right fix, supporting each member and representing the RAC in a positive way on site.
* Respond to calls outside standard 9–5 hours; shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Qualifications
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A customer-focused approach.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary.
