The role
We are looking for Smart Repair Technicians to join our client’s modern, high-standard bodyshop in Thurleigh. You will work within an experienced team, producing high-quality cosmetic repairs and ensuring all vehicles meet customer standards. This role is ideal for someone with previous SMART, Quickfix or bodyshop repair experience looking for a long-term opportunity.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Smart Repair Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Polishing newly painted panels to remove imperfections and achieve a high-quality finishCarrying out windscreen, plastic, and interior repairsRemoving scratches and correcting minor paint defectsCompleting leather and trim repairs where requiredUndertaking cosmetic repairs to vehicle panels and componentsEnsuring all job cards and documentation are completed accuratelyWorking to company quality standards and repair proceduresManaging workloads effectively to maintain workshop productivitySupporting junior technicians when requiredThe Person:
Previous experience as a Smart Repair Technician, Bodyshop Technician, or similar automotive roleFull UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offencesAble to work independently and confidently carry out cosmetic vehicle repairsStrong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanshipGood organisational and time management skillsTeam player with a positive attitudePassionate about the automotive industry and delivering excellent resultsWhat We Offer:
