About the Role: They are looking for a Manufacturing Line Engineer to join their mission-driven team. This is a critical role at the intersection of design, engineering, and production, supporting the buildout of their manufacturing capabilities as they scale operations globally. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimise manufacturing processes and production lines for their water storage units, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and safety. Create custom machinery, jigs, and fixtures to support production goals. Work closely with the CTO and engineering team to turn concepts into fully realised manufacturing solutions. Identify and implement ways to reduce manual processes, simplify operations, and enhance productivity. Ensure designs consider cost, reliability, and ease of maintenance. Present your design proposals clearly, supported by data and visuals, to internal stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement of the manufacturing system as they grow. Requirements: A Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer with a strong foundation in both static and dynamic systems. 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with a proven track record of designing machinery for manufacturing lines. A problem-solver who can take projects from concept to completion, balancing innovation with practicality. Someone with a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate your approach to design, problem-solving, and implementation. Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, including materials, processes, and machinery. Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent), with experience creating detailed 3D models and drawings. Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and load analysis in both static and dynamic applications. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary £35,000-45,000 DOE. Company share options.
