Vacancies Social Worker - Adult Learning Disabilities


Job Introduction

We’re exploring new ways of working with adults with a learning disability and/or autism and it's allowed us to create some exciting new opportunities for our staff including increasing access to post-registration trainingand our unique Social Work Learning Academy.

Our current vacancies are located within:

Neurodiversity Team- based in Stafford or East Staffordshire

Adult Learning Disability South- based in South Staffordshire and East Staffordshire.


Main Responsibility

As a Social Worker in this team, you’ll:

Have a passion for supporting adults to achieve their full potential and want to gain further experience in improving outcomes.

Have the chance to support adults from the very start of their journey, reviewing their goals and ambitions.

Continue to promote independence and opportunities, ensuringthat these have positive outcomes.

Undertakeassessments, support planning, review and case management to support adults with a learning disability and/or autism ensuring that they, their families/carers and the people important to them are supported to live the life that they want to live.


The Ideal Candidate

It goes without saying, you will need a professional social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS) or other social work qualification certified by Social Work England.

You’ll be:
