As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are seeking a seasoned Data Transformation Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale data modernisation initiatives within our global chemical manufacturing operations on a temporary, fixed-term contract for 12 months.. This role is critical in driving digital transformation across complex supply chains, R&D, production, and commercial functions.
You will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and business agility.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in data transformation or digital initiatives.
3. Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and regulatory environments.
4. Proven experience with ERP systems (, SAP), data lakes, ETL pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
5. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (, Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
6. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
7. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
8. High level of interpersonal skills
9. Ability to plan multiple activities with competing priorities
10. Knowledge of engineering and contractor industry

What You’ll Be Doing:

12. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data transformation projects across manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, and commercial domains.
13. Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, Business Units, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
14. Collaborate and work with Business Transformation workstreams and define the data needs and dependencies.
15. Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications with precision and transparency.
16. Apart from Data Transformation, Oversee the migration and integration of legacy systems into modern cloud-based data pipelines/platforms (, Snowflake & Azure).
17. Champion data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality initiatives aligned with industry regulations (, REACH).
18. Drive change management and user adoption strategies across global teams.
19. Report progress and KPIs to executive leadership and steering committees. Communicate project status, insights, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders within the Global Transformation teams.
20. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards throughout the transformation lifecycle.
21. Be a key driver of digital transformation in a global, innovation-led chemical enterprise.
