228337 Community Staff Nurse x 2 at NHS DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Community Staff Nurse to join the Upper Annandale Community Nursing Team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to housebound patients. The role involves clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas, working alongside a multidisciplinary Home Team that includes Allied Health Professionals, Social Services and Public Health Improvement.
Responsibilities
* Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes and at community clinics.
* Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary Home Team to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
* Conduct assessments, develop care plans and monitor patient progress.
* Engage with patients and their families to promote health education and self‑management.
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of clinical information in electronic systems.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with valid UK nursing registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC, GMC, GDC).
* Experience working in a community setting preferred, but not essential.
* Current driving licence (or alternative transport arrangement if unable to hold a licence).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to NHS values and patient‑centred care.
Employment Details
2 fixed‑term posts:
* 1 x 37 hours per week, end date 03/07/2026
* 1 x 30 hours per week, start 09/12/2025, end 01/09/2026
The posts are contract positions.
