Job Description Summary
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material and production needs. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution, focusing on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or end‑results review.
Responsibilities
* Drive adherence to plan via Production Schedulers (direct reports) and ensure repair plans support engines overhaul plans.
* Monitor labor hours and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
* Support development of digital planning tools.
* Work alongside Operations Leaders and Repair Engineers on full‑time‑yield improvement projects.
* Identify opportunities for labor‑flexing across repair shops/sites, ensuring that production plans are always met while labor capacity is fully utilized.
* Use information provided by Site Data Analyst and Production Schedulers to optimize repair plans, minimizing cost and turnaround time.
* Work with CRW Operations leaders on training plans, productivity and utilization.
* Coordinate the four repair stream strategies.
* Work with the Site Data Analyst/SIOP leader on headcount requirements.
* Monitor labor hour booking practices to ensure accurate reporting.
* Work with the wider planning team on short/long‑term business planning, labor and tooling capacity.
* Coach and mentor direct reports.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven analytical and organizational ability.
* Effective problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and make logical decisions in short timeframes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experienced user of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
* Knowledge of Lean principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Works well with teams and individuals at all levels of the business.

* Familiar with the SIOP concept.
* Experience in a planning environment.
* Knowledge of Component Repair Wales activities and processes.
