Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Stack Emissions Team Leader to join its growing team in Wednesbury (Birmingham). This role will be responsible for leading our stack emissions testing campaigns and overseeing all parts of the on-site testing.
Responsibilities
* Lead on-site sampling and monitoring activities
* Ensure all testing complies with method standards and requirements
* Maintain high quality throughout each testing campaign
* Travel to client sites
* Conduct site inductions and write POW risk assessments
* Oversee health and safety considerations on site and during testing
* Operate sampling and test equipment to measure emission levels
* Gather site information related to monitoring and process activities
* Communicate with customer contacts and regulators
* Follow company and client health and safety protocols
* Prepare, repair, calibrate, and maintain test equipment
* Manage stocks of consumable items
* Handle shipment of samples to analysis laboratories
* Maintain records in accordance with our accredited QMS
Skills / Qualifications
* MCERTS Level 2 Team Leader qualification
* Interest in environmental monitoring and industrial processes
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous; full training will be provided
* Full driving license required due to extensive travel, including overnight stays
* Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in physically demanding situations
* Attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service
