We are seeking Operating Department Practitioners and Anaesthetic Nurses to join our dynamic team within Cardio Thoracic Theatres and the Cath Labs. The role involves assessment and delivery of perioperative patient care, aiming to optimise outcomes throughout the surgical pathway.
Responsibilities
* Assess and deliver perioperative patient care, including implementation and continual evaluation to optimise outcomes.
* Participate in teaching and supervision of junior staff and students on both basic and post‑basic courses.
* Maintain personal and professional development and allocate resources effectively.
* Act in accordance with the HCPC/NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
* Support Cardiac Theatre Development initiatives.
* Comprehensive preceptorship will be provided for newly qualified operating department practitioners and anaesthetic nurses.
Qualifications & Experience
* Cardio Thoracic experience is desirable but not required; full training will be provided.
