Job Description
Noad Roofing is looking for an experienced and dependable Finance Assistant to support the financial operations of our growing business.
This is a responsible role within a fast-paced environment, working closely with the directors to ensure accurate records, compliance and smooth day-to-day financial management.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing payroll
* Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
* PAYE administration
* CIS returns and subcontractor payments
* VAT preparation and basic month-end processes
* Raising and managing invoices
* Tracking payments and customer statements
* Pension administration and auto-enrolment
* Preparing monthly forecasts
* Producing financial reports for directors
* Reconciling accounts and monitoring transactions
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience and confidence using Quickbooks accounting software
* Proven experience in payroll and bookkeeping
* Strong knowledge of PAYE and CIS processes
* Experience managing pensions / auto-enrolment
* Experience of account preparation for VAT
* Ability to produce financial reports and forecasts
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritise workload and manage deadlines
* Confident IT skills and accounting software experience
* Reliable and punctual with a professional approach
* High accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable:
* Experience working within construction or trade industry
* AAT qualifications
The Role Offers
* Part-time —16-24 hours per week
