We gained deep experience building CRM at our last company, HubSpot — Christopher as CPO and Michael as Director of SMB Sales and VP Product Growth. When we saw LLMs for the first time, we knew it was time to start building from scratch again. We believe that all companies will be AI Native—and the companies that get there first need fundamentally different tools than what exists today. We're building software that thinks and acts like your best teammate, not another system you have to manage.

Founding Marketer @ Day.ai

We're looking for a founding marketer to build on our early momentum—growing our brand presence and generating demand. You'll have the rare versatility of being a great storyteller who loves to create compelling content, while also being effective and strategic with distribution and demand generation. You'll be equal parts strategic, creative, and customer-obsessed. This is all about taking the early traction we've built and scaling it into a world-class marketing engine.

* Reimagine CRM for the AI age. We're building core customer and GTM infrastructure for AI native companies. Instead of spending hours manually updating databases and hunting for context, our customers get a CRM that builds itself—automatically capturing and organizing every conversation, interaction, and insight. We're making CRM invisible and intuitive so teams can focus on what matters: building relationships and growing their business.
* Join a company bought in on marketing. The founders and team are fully behind creating content, willing to take bets, and believe that making truly compelling stuff is job number one.
* Be the first full-time marketing hire. You'll shape Day.ai's marketing DNA. You won't just follow established processes—you'll build from scratch and influence our brand, the stories we tell, and how we represent ourselves everywhere.
* Work with kind, ambitious, and talented people. You'll join a team of incredibly talented people with deep product sense and years of experience at the highest levels of the CRM space. What You'll Do

* Cut through the noise. Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with founders, early GTM hires, and sales leaders at B2B AI Native tech startups and professional services companies. Craft unique points of view and opinions that cut through the noise in our space.
* Showcase our momentum. Interview customers, soak up interesting conversations from across Day.ai, and turn these insights into compelling content that showcases Day.ai's rapid pace of innovation and growth. Partner with the founders to produce authentic "build in public" content that turns our shipping velocity into a strategic marketing advantage that builds trust and buzz.
* Drive signups and demand. Own the signup number and all digital marketing channels—social, blog, email, everything. Drive signups while caring deeply about brand, activation, retention, and community. Obsess over understanding our ideal customer profile deeply and identify the stories and channels that truly resonate with them.
* Create content that converts. Produce compelling opinion-driven content across all formats. Use AI to accelerate development and quality while knowing when to be scrappy and when to hone in on details.
* Build community and brand presence. Explore and establish early brand-building efforts through content partnerships, events, newsletters, and owned media that create affinity with our audience.
* Lay the foundation for scale. Leverage AI and automation with a systems thinking approach to drive scalable growth.

What You'll Bring

* Senior-level marketing experience. Think of this as a senior/staff level role. You've spent at least a few years building marketing functions and driving real business impact. Bonus if you've been the first or early marketing hire at a high-growth startup.
* AI-native mindset. You come ready to do the work with a systems thinking approach that leverages AI and automation to drive scalable growth. You understand that great "vibe marketing" comes from authentic stories told at scale, and AI helps you do both.
* Domain knowledge. You're curious (and ideally knowledgable) about CRM, GTM tech, and early-stage growth playbooks for taking companies from 0-1.
* Deep customer obsession. You're obsessed with understanding our ideal customer profile at a granular level. You know how to identify the specific stories, channels, and approaches that truly resonate with our audience.
* Exceptional storytelling ability. You're a storyteller at heart with the writing and positioning chops to translate complex products and ideas into crisp, compelling narratives. You can take seemingly disconnected conversations and insights and weave them into cohesive stories that resonate.
* Content creation fluency. You're natively fluent in content production across multiple formats and excellent at blending brand, founder, and company storytelling into major announcements and launches.
* "Figure it out" mentality. You're comfortable owning ambitious goals and being strategic about how to achieve them, even when the path isn't clear. You move fast, operate independently, and know how to prioritize what matters.
