About the Role

The Production Lead Technician works in our Advanced Technology Cleaning Centers (ATCC)® to process and clean (eliminate micro‑contamination) our customers' new and in‑process tool chamber parts. These manufacturing processes may use various machines, processes, and chemicals to meet the varying needs of chemistry, material composition, and coatings of different parts components. Processes take place in a cleanroom or chemical processing environment. The technician may receive packages, inspect bags, and ship parts. Safety is the number one priority; personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to avoid exposure and protect the individual.


Responsibilities

* Follows all safety rules and policies and assists the Production Supervisor in ensuring employees follow proper safety and regulatory policies.
* Leads and assists in directing production workflow through each department.
* Monitors jobs and ensures quality and production standards are met.
* Develops and assists with training of employees within each department as needed.
* Looks for and makes suggestions to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and organization of work and methods.
* Assists the Production Supervisor to monitor KPIs and goals, and assists in developing action plans for improvement.
* Demonstrates the ability to work within the team environment by participating in problem resolution, team meetings, and enabling associates to work together toward area goals.
* Participates in the daily activities of the team such as safety, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed.
* Documents all safety, quality, personnel and equipment issues, and informs the Production Supervisor.
* Performs other duties as required by the Production Supervisor.
* Performs measurements using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and logs data.


Physical Demands and Working Conditions

* Works in a manufacturing and chemical environment.
* Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
* Subject to frequent interruptions.
* Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris.
* May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from manufacturing equipment, compressed air, etc.
* Subject to interruptions.


Education / Certification

* High school diploma or GED. Technical associate degree or some college preferred.
* Manufacturing team leader or supervisory experience preferred.


Experience

* 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment; leadership experience preferred.
* 3+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing processes or materials, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
* Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies is desired.
* Previous experience in the parts cleaning industry a major plus.


Skills & Competencies

* Ability to handle repetitive work and provide fast turn‑around on production related to masking, wiping, and processing parts.
* Good verbal and written communication.
* Must be computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Team player and positive attitude required.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend and evening work.
* Must be able to wear work‑area gowning and other required PPE.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp objects.
* Exerting up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 35 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Ability to move arms, hands and fingers.
* Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
* Prolonged standing with intermittent sitting and bending during work hours.
* Required to wear personal protective equipment.


Additional Training

* Kaizen or Lean training is a major plus.
* Quality Assurance experience.
* Ability to take SPC measurements and log data.
* Computer literacy, knowledge of MS Word and Excel preferred.
