Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations. Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue. Organize and maintain inventory. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Large caseload. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers. Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
