We are currently looking for a Claims Handler with an immediate start to join our professional indemnity team based in our London office.
The role will support the investigation and assessment of claims, working closely with policy holders, clients, brokers, legal professionals, third‑party administrators (“TPAs”) and other stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolution. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Liaising closely with other insurers where AmTrust are either a follow line or lead insurer with a follow market and conducting thorough investigations into professional indemnity claims.
* Gathering relevant evidence, reviewing policy terms and conditions and setting strategy for resolution and reserves.
The right candidate will ideally have some legal experience, either formally or through study and/or exposure to professional indemnity claims. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – good attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving skills are essential.
