Job Description: Support Worker at Little Orchard
Location: Little Orchard, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 0GF
Salary: £12.30 per hour (Effective from 1st April 2025)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
1. Support the Service Manager by managing and monitoring performance in delegated areas such as team management, operational targets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, and report back accordingly.
2. Act as the Designated Responsible Person on shift as required.
3. Manage the team and staff rota as delegated by the Service Manager.
4. Delegate tasks to staff, support them in organizing and completing their work to deadlines and quality standards, and contribute to recruitment, induction, and training of staff.
5. Accurately complete and submit work and updates using Regard’s reporting systems as delegated.
6. Ensure safeguarding of the people supported by working within internal policies, medication management systems, staff handbook, and external regulations (CQC, CSSIW, OFSTED, etc.).
7. Develop Care Plans and risk assessments to support personalized care aligned with individual needs and goals, updating them as needs change.
8. Promote goal-oriented activities and support achievement of individuals' aspirations, delivering meaningful outcomes.
9. Monitor and collate outcome information and data using Regard documentation to support reviews and discussions with stakeholders.
10. Support and empower individuals by offering options and encouraging positive risk-taking in line with their Care Plans.
11. Collaborate with colleagues, families, friends, and other professionals to support each individual.
12. Handle issues, comments, and complaints following policy and procedures.
13. Contribute to the Service Development Plan, including resource estimation and planning for service growth, staffing, and facilities.
14. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times and ensure health and safety of site users, fulfilling delegated responsibilities from the Service Manager.
