We are delighted to announce a vacancy within the dynamic iMobile Critical Care Outreach Team at our Denmark Hill site, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in Critical Care Outreach to join our forward‑thinking team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a service that delivers expert critical care support across the hospital to deteriorating patients, making a tangible impact on patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience as Critical Care Outreach Nurse, alongside evidence of academic training and competencies that demonstrate practice at an advanced level within Critical care outreach.
 * As an ANP you will be practising autonomously providing expert care for a complex group of patients. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the site.
 * You will be able to deliver skills in advance practice whilst recognising the limits of your clinical competence and seeking guidance from the medical team.
 * Facilitate the provision of a highly efficient critical outreach, responsive to the needs of the patients and the organisation.
 * In conjunction with the iMobile Leads you will have the responsibility to support developments in Clinical Governance and to modernise services.
 * The post holder will be a strong clinical leader and autonomous practitioner providing expertise to clinical staff across the organisation, and where necessary lead the iMobile team.
 * The post holder will be an exemplary role model and expert clinical practitioner and promote the trust values.
 * Provide professional advice to all areas of the organisation concerning deteriorating patients. Participate in service development and delivery: including policy development, training, clinical governance, and risk.
 * The post holder will deliver a 90% clinical component to their role and 10% related to appraisal, clinical audit, teaching, continuous professional development and research.
