Purpose of Role
We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Bid Writer to join our Bid team based in Rainham
Job Description
As a Bid Writer, you will play a key role in securing new business by preparing tenders for projects ranging from £500K - £5M. Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, you will produce high-quality, compelling, and client-focused bid submissions that demonstrate our capabilities, innovation, and value.
Responsibilities
* Writing clear, concise, and persuasive content for PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions.
* Researching and understanding client requirements to tailor responses accordingly.
* Coordinating with internal teams (estimating, design, project managers) to gather technical input.
* Ensuring compliance with bid specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
* Supporting the development of bid strategies, win themes, and case studies.
* Managing version control and maintaining a library of reusable content.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
* Proven experience as a Bid/Proposals Writer - (ideally within construction, refurbishment, or fit out).
* Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes would be advantageous.
* Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with great attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
* A collaborative and proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
