Barista (Casual) - Seaford, East Sussex Location: Downs Leisure Centre Hours: 1-12 hours a week (to include weekdays until 18:30) Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour Closing Date: 07/01/2026 Job Description The Wave Team has considerable experience in the management of all aspects of community leisure, such as managing leisure centres (wet and dry), operating dual use sites (for example, schools and colleges), running sport and physical activity programmes (both indoor and outdoor). The priority of the Barista is to provide a friendly and efficient full service to all of its customers at all times. Summary of Main Duties Adherence to Wave Active standards. Maintaining the opening times and operational standards as agreed. To provide customers with prompt and efficient service and suitable product alternatives whenever required. Full communication must be given to all our customers to inform them of any changes in our service. Engaging with all our customers and aim to exceed the customers’ needs and expectations. Person Specification: Some barista experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. To have or be able to obtain L2 Food Hygiene Certificate and COSHH in kitchen. To follow the set guidelines from Food standards agency from the ‘Safer food, better business guide’. Personal Hygiene and presentation must be maintained at all times. This includes Hair tided up & clean uniform.
