MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Premium Consumer Goods brand to recruit an Affiliates and PR Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in London, UK.
The Affiliates and PR Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility and driving D2C growth, while maintaining strong retail relationships. This person will operate autonomously, managing PR, affiliates, and digital campaigns, with a strong focus on editorial content partnerships and leveraging the brand’s award-winning reputation and sustainability message.
This role is ideal for a passionate, commercially astute professional who thrives in a founder-led, entrepreneurial environment and understands the art of relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, and media outlets to secure coverage and editorial affiliate placements.
* Develop and leverage the brand’s extensive award wins and sustainability credentials to secure high-value press and digital opportunities.
* Develop compelling PR and content strategies to drive brand awareness and reinforce premium positioning.
* Lead the affiliate marketing strategy with a focus on editorial content partnerships (via AWIN, Skimlinks, and related platforms).
* Negotiate and manage relationships with affiliate partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and optimised revenue growth.
* Monitor performance through analytics platforms such as TripleWhale, making data-driven recommendations for growth.
* Drive D2C channel performance, optimising traffic acquisition, conversion, and retention while balancing key retail relationships.
* Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure consistent messaging and channel strategy.
* Develop and implement initiatives to grow online sales while safeguarding long-term partnerships with retail stockists.
* Act as a brand ambassador, representing the business in external communications and partner relationships.
* Ensure the brand’s premium, sustainable, and purpose-driven positioning is reflected across all touchpoints.
* Work closely with digital, content, and wider marketing teams to create and deliver impactful PR assets, campaigns, and events.
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PR, affiliate marketing, or digital marketing, ideally within eCommerce and/or a founder-led consumer goods business.
* Proven track record of driving D2C growth while managing and balancing retail partnerships.
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills with a passion for connecting people and ideas.
* Experience managing affiliate platforms (AWIN, Skimlinks) and confident using performance tracking tools such as TripleWhale.
* Commercially astute with the ability to interpret data, optimise campaigns, and deliver measurable results.
* Creative, proactive, and resilient with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Passion for premium consumer goods and a deep understanding of how to translate a brand’s sustainability message into powerful customer communications.
