1. Role : Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Salary : £55,000 - £60,000 benefits
Location : Leeds OR Doncaster (hybrid)
Fruition IT is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an organisation who serve the construction industry. They pave the way when it comes to sustainable building materials. This role involves analysing organisational requirements, defining software and systems specifications, and providing day-to-day operational support to ensure optimal system performance and service continuity.
The successful candidate will contribute to the technical design, implementation, and support of advanced software, hardware platforms, and cloud services, driving efficiency and productivity across the organisation.
Senior Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Analyse existing systems and business models, recommending solutions and improvements.Prepare and author technical documentation, including performance specifications and solution designs.Diagnose and resolve system-related issues, escalating to third-party vendors as necessary to maintain service levels.Ensure compliance with organisational security procedures and protocols.Lead the preparation of technical plans and ensure the assignment of appropriate technical resources.Provide expert advice on solution development, integration, and technical strategies.Conduct impact analysis on design options, managing and assessing associated risks.Execute operational procedures such as configuration, implementation, installation, and maintenance.
Senior Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 technologiesProficiency with Azure networking, server, storage, and application management.Experience with SaaS platforms like Mimecast, Varonis, and Cisco Umbrella.Skilled in HP/Dell Server, SAN/NAS storage solutions, and VMware vSphere.Knowledge of Backup & Recovery technologies (Veeam, Avamar, Zerto).Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall technologies.Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
