At Claimont Health, we are looking for a Female Live-In Support Worker to support an adult with complex mental health needs within their own home in Rochester, Kent. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a critical step-down phase, where the right support will play a key role in rebuilding confidence, independence and overall wellbeing. Placement Details Start Date: 4th May Duration: 4 weeks Structure: Continuous live-in placement (not week on/week off) About the Role You will be supporting an individual with complex and enduring mental health needs, including severe anxiety and depression. Following a period of higher-level clinical support, the client is now transitioning into a more independent phase, where structure, consistency and emotional support are essential. This is a stable and supportive package, focused on helping the individual regain confidence and re-engage with day-to-day life. You will work closely with the wider clinical and operational team, ensuring safe, person-centred care within the home environment. About our Client Ongoing anxiety, with occasional panic episodes Low mood, but actively engaging with support Gradually rebuilding independence and confidence Some challenges with routine and daily structure Reduced social engagement, with a focus on gradual reintroduction The individual responds well to reassurance, consistency and a calm approach. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 emotional and practical support Offer reassurance and support during periods of anxiety Support with daily routines and personal care where required Encourage independence and confidence-building Support gradual access to the community and activities Promote structure, routine and positive habits Work collaboratively with family and professionals Maintain a calm, safe and supportive environment at all times What We’re Looking For Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs A calm, patient and empathetic approach Ability to build trust and strong rapport Comfortable working in a live-in, lone-working environment Female support worker (essential for this package) Driver preferred Why This Role Matters This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity to support someone at a pivotal stage in their recovery.
