Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analysis Manager to join our team in Crewe, United Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and providing strategic insights to optimize our commercial performance.
* Management of a team of commercial analysts, to lead and improve delivery of reports, projects and implementing continuous improvement
* Preparation of reforecasts and budget analysis to support business delivery, and regular reporting and analysis to monitor business performance, track key initiatives and progress to budgets and reforecasts
* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, profitability, and key performance indicators
* Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present complex data in a clear and actionable format
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business planning
* Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of commercial strategies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
* Lead ad-hoc technical,assignments, and analysis projects to address specific business challenges and opportunities
* Understand and challenge data sources and assumptions to ensure reporting is robust, consistent, and insightful
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial analysis
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial analysis or a related field
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
* Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
* Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business performance
* Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
