The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes that meet and exceed AA Rosette standards. You will play a key role in the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in every plate.
Responsibilities
* Assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food quality
* Maintain rosette-level presentation, flavour, and technique across all dishes
* Support menu development, bringing fresh ideas and seasonal creativity
* Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times
* Help manage stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
* Train and develop junior team members
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a quality‑led kitchen
* Passion for delivering food to AA Rosette or similar fine dining standards
* Strong knowledge of fresh ingredients, seasonality, and modern cooking techniques
* A positive, hands‑on attitude with excellent teamwork skills
* Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistency
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
