Accounts Assistant - South Leicestershire - £28,000 - £32,000
I am working alongside an established, multi entity-business based in South Leicestershire is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support a busy, hands on finance function.
This role will suit someone comfortable working across multiple companies and taking ownership of core transactional finance processes. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate ledgers and supporting the wider finance team with day to day and ad hoc requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the transactional sales ledger for several trading companies
Credit control across three trading businesses and a portfolio of rental companies
Purchase ledger responsibilities for all rental entities
Sales ledger processing for all rental companies
Completing regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
Posting journals and transactional entries accurately and on time
Supporting the finance team with additional ad hoc finance assistant tasks as required
Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and control across 11 to 12 entitiesQuickBooks experience is essential and will allow you to hit the ground running. Experience working across multiple entities, or within an accountancy practice managing various ledgers, would be highly advantageous.
This is a fully office based role, five days a week, offering a salary in the region of £28,000 to £32,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
