Information Security Analyst - Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cardiff

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Threat Intelligence team, reporting to the Information Security Lead - Cyber Threat Intelligence. This role is vital in our efforts to enhance security and protect our customers and business from evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
* Stay updated on the cyber threat landscape, especially within fintech.
* Produce reports and deliver threat briefings relevant to Starling Bank.
* Assist in developing and implementing threat intelligence strategies.
* Conduct analysis and respond to alerts using various technology platforms.
* Understand threat actors and TTPs, and assess their impact on the bank.
* Prepare risk and impact assessments, and produce strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence reports.
* Support incident response activities.
* Engage with industry peers and external agencies to strengthen security posture.
* Provide threat analysis and detection recommendations to Security Operations.
Minimum Requirements
Essential skills include resilience, experience in analysis and investigations, familiarity with analytical tools, understanding of intelligence processes, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be able to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred but not essential are qualifications like Crest Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA).
