* Every 3rd Saturday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
Role Overview
We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations. This role is chef‑focused first, managerial second - your primary responsibility is cooking high‑quality meals with speed and precision. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a busy catering environment, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency.
This position does not involve cash handling. Your focus will be on delivering excellent food and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a high standard.
* Ensure meals are produced quickly and efficiently to meet service demands.
* Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards at all times.
* Oversee kitchen operations and support staff when required.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
* Organise kitchen workflow to deliver meals on time.
* Take pride in the food produced and continuously look for improvements.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a chef, ideally with some supervisory or managerial exposure.
* Strong culinary skills with the ability to work at speed without compromising quality.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead by example and support junior staff when needed.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
* Positive, proactive attitude with pride in the food you create.
* Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays.
