Job Types: Full Time / Part Time / Permanent / Daytime / Weekends
Location: Across Crewkerne, Beaminster, Bridport, Lyme Regis & Surrounding Dorset Villages
Salary: £13.00 per hour (weekdays, 7am–6pm) | £14.00 per hour (weekday evenings & weekends) | £19.50 per hour (Bank Holidays)
Schedules Available: Flexible hours available
Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Where You'll Be Working
Angel Carers is a small, friendly, non-agency home care provider with a proud CQC “Good” rating, covering Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis and surrounding villages .
We are recruiting compassionate Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across these local areas. Care Assistants work across our local coverage area depending on client needs and rota allocation, and shifts may take place in more than one town.
Whether you’re experienced or new to care, we would love to have you on board - complete paid training is provided.
Local routes planned close to home
45–60+ minute visits – never rushed
Flexible rotas around childcare, family commitments or other work
Support is always available from our local Bridport office

About the Role - No Experience Needed

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be fully trained to support people in their own homes with day-to-day living – helping them stay independent, safe and comfortable .
What You'll Do:
Provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ homes
Support people to live as independently as possible
Empower clients to make their own decisions and choices
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required
Support with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
Administer medication (training provided)
Help with shopping and light domestic tasks
Accompany clients to appointments and outings
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
Ensure clients’ safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times
Use mobile technology to record and deliver quality care
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
Follow safe working practices and uphold Angel Carers’ values

About You
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
Full driving licence and access to a car
Right to work in the UK & a valid DBS
No previous care experience necessary – we provide comprehensive, fully funded training
GCSE or equivalent qualifications
Willing to work alternating weekends
Self-motivated, organised and reliable individuals
Genuinely passionate about helping others
Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
A good listener with a warm personality
Aligned to our company values and committed to high standards of care
A positive and professional team working ethos
