We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our clients Transport team in Peterhead on a permanent basis. Job Purpose To ensure all administration within the Transport Department is completed accurately and in line with legislative guidelines and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Collate transport paperwork, including job tickets and timesheets, for onward processing. Work closely with the Transport Operations team to ensure timely and accurate information, with a focus on streamlining processes and reducing duplication. Extract timesheet information from the Transport Management System (TMS), review, and input into Microsoft Dynamics AX. Collate hours from agency drivers and subcontractors, update spreadsheets, and raise purchase orders as required. Gather customer data, review for accuracy, make necessary adjustments, and input into Microsoft Dynamics AX for billing purposes. Maintain and update customer spreadsheets, distributing them to relevant departments as needed. Provide holiday cover for other administrators within the Transport team. Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service, business processes, and cost effectiveness by identifying and suggesting practical improvements. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role. Minimum Qualifications GCSE level or equivalent. Essential Skills & Competencies Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines. Numerate with excellent planning and organisational skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong desire for learning and personal development. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team. Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in an operational or logistics environment. Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
