Location: South Gloucestershire, Bristol Type: Contract 7 Months We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support our client Essential Skills: Must have experience as a Civils PCSM on Grid projects, with certifications including NSI 6 & 8, HSG47 for Substations, Lifting Supervisor, and Manual Handling. Description: Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work. Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements. Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions, Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings. Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work. Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations Communicate effectively with the contractors, client and internal staff. Attend weekly progress meetings. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labor including a site dairy Desirable to already hold SSE authorization of minimum CAT1C.
