We are looking to appoint a Retail/Trade Sales Assistant to be based in our Harlow store, you will engage with customers and team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service through your enthusiasm and knowledge. You will be responsible for driving sales performance through our training to provide a high standard of customer service by appreciating our customers needs and giving advice for customers requirements. As a Retail/Trade Sales Assistant your role will include - Delivering exclusive Customer Service through knowledge and inspiring customers Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers Generating new trade leads through telesales Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner The Company; N&C Tiles and Bathrooms are part of the Nicholls and Clarke Group of Companies, a business founded in 1875, dedicated to providing Building Materials throughout the UK. The Person; Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role/environment but not essential. You should be comfortable and confident in dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner. Demonstrating energy, drive and a positive can do attitude to ensure a complete customer experience using Company procedures and policies. You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role and you must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays.
