Head of Medical Affairs – Pharmaceutical Industry
Exclusive to CK Group | Buckinghamshire | Hybrid (2 days office-based)
Are you a GMC-registered physician or GPhC-registered pharmacist with strong Medical Affairs experience? We’re working exclusively with a growing, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company on the cusp of exciting product launches to appoint a Head of Medical Affairs.
This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape and expand the medical and regulatory function in a collaborative, forward-thinking organisation with international reach.
What You’ll Do
As Head of Medical Affairs, you’ll lead both the medical and regulatory teams, with responsibilities including:
* Providing strategic scientific and clinical guidance across medical and commercial activities
* Build out the medical affairs team ahead of 2 exciting product launches
* Acting as the final medical signatory and ensuring compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice
* Building strong relationships with KOLs, advisory boards, and cross-functional global stakeholders
* Overseeing review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials
* Driving product launches and offering strategic input into brand development and positioning
* Leading and mentoring the local Medical Affairs team to deliver operational excellence
* Identifying and evaluating business development opportunities, including new asset assessments
What We’re Looking For
* GMC-registered physician or GPhC-registered pharmacist
* Final medical signatory experience essential
* Proven track record in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
* Hands-on experience with product launches
* Collaborative leadership style and strong cross-functional communication skills
