Role Description:
An opportunity has arisen for four Social Work Apprentices to join Nugent to attain a Degree Apprenticeship in Social Work whilst supporting our adult services.
As a Social Work Apprentice, you will work in partnership with adults, carers, and families in various settings to support and promote positive change in individuals' lives, aiming to improve their wellbeing and independence.
You will complete projects/assignments and work tasks within specified timeframes. You are expected to visit Hope University campus once a fortnight for a study day. The remaining work will be at one of our services in the Wigan area.
Experience & Skills:
* Experience in any social care environment through personal or professional duties for at least 12 months or level 3 qualifications with 120 UCAS Tariff points
* GCSE Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent qualifications e.g., Level 2
* Ability to develop and maintain trusting, open, and productive relationships
* Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, e.g., assessment frameworks
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
* Effective communication skills
* Proficient in ICT tools such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Skills in planning, prioritising, and organising work
* Adaptability to change and new working methods
